Amsterdam International Airport is the 4th one in Europe in term of passengers with 44 millions a year. In 2002 Schiphol was voted Best European airport during 15 consecutive years, and a fourth position in the global ranking. AMS is located 14 miles away from city center on the main A4 (E10) autoroute from Rotterdam and The Hague to Amsterdam. Directions to the A4 and major destinations are signposted as you leave the airport. The See Buy Fly shopping centre (Schiphol Plaza) has been named the world's best airport shopping centre by 'The Business Traveller' for over 10 years in a row.
