Munich Franz Joseph Strauss Airport

Munich Franz Josef Strauss International Airport is located 30 km northeast of Munich city center. With about 30 million passengers a year it is the second most important airport in Germany behind Frankfurt and it is ranked 8th in Europe. Munich airport is reputated to offer excellent facilities to passengers (It is awarded Best European airport in 2006). There are two terminals and the main carrier operating is the national airline : Lufthansa.
