San Francisco Airport

San Francisco International Airport is composed of four terminals - Terminal 1 and 3 are dedicated to domestic flights - Terminal 2 is closed for renovation and will perhaps welcome Virgin America in the future - The Terminal 4 is the one for International flights. SFO is the fourteenth largest in the United States in terms of passengers and is a major hub of United Airlines. It is located 12.9 km (8 miles) south of the city in San Mateo County on a landfill extension into the San Francisco Bay.
