Shanghai airport

Pudong Airport is located 32km (20 miles) southeast of Shanghai, on the East China Sea coast. Officially opened on 1 October 1999, Pudong Airport is Shanghai’s international hub. The second terminal is under construction and scheduled for completion this year (2007). The airport is modern and offers all facilities and services to travellers. Pudong PVG will expand soon with another terminal to welcome the brand new A380 in the coming years. Driving a car by yourself in Shanghai may be quite a challenge - It is not recommended for a tourist trip - If you still want to rent a vehicle, an International Driving Permit, air ticket, passport and a credit card to cover the large deposit are required.
