Beijing Capital airport

The airport is located 26 kilometers - 18 Miles, or 40 minutes, from the center of Beijing. It is the main hub of Air China and China Xinhua Airlines. Beijing Capital is today the busiest airport in China with more than 35 millions passengers in 2006. Airport tax : Travelers departing Beijing on an international flight must pay a RMB90 airport construction tax. Those flying to domestic destinations must pay RMB50. Payment must be made at counters in the departure area prior to checking-in for your flight.
